It's an Afghan, but not as you know it. Imagine all the comforting goodness of your Mum's Afghans, turbo charged with big chunks of dark chocolate! And, like any good Afghan, there's a crunch in every bite.

When it comes to making Cookie Time cookies, we’ve got a simple rule – we prefer to use things you’d have in your own pantry - like fresh eggs, chunks of real chocolate and pure NZ butter. It's the best way to get the most delicious taste. Just like Grandma used to make!

 

Ingredients: Wheat flour, Butter (cream, salt), Milk compound chocolate coating 21% (sugar, vegetable fat, milk solids, cocoa powder, emulsifiers (soy lecithin, 476, 492), salt, flavours), Sugar, Wheat flakes 9% (wheat, salt, malted barley extract), Chocolate 8% (sugar, cocoa mass, milk solids, cocoa butter, emulsifiers (soy lecithin, 476), malted barley syrup, flavour), Cocoa powder (with acidity regulator (501)), Salt, Raising agent (500, 450), Wheat starch. Contains milk, soy and gluten-containing cereal products. May be present: Egg, sesame, peanuts and tree nuts.

The size does make it difficult to divide them evenly between each cookie, but this is what makes each one unique, just like you and me!
